The Dead Sea is full of life!

This one of a kind destination located in the Jordan Rift Valley boasts to be the lowest point on earth by 417 meters below sea level. It is called the Dead Sea because of its extremely high content of salt making it impossible for any form of life to thrive in this body of water. However, this is one destination that one would not want to miss when visiting the historic country of Israel! Because of the amount of salts and minerals found in the water, the very low atmospheric pressure, and low position below sea level, people travel from near and far to benefit from its healing treatments for things such as respiratory issues, psoriasis, and osteoarthritis just to name a few.
